Following an exciting and rewarding career in Public Sectory Energy, FMCG, Retail and Healthcare global scale corporates, and a stint at a Big Four providing IP consulting advice, I have launched my own IP consultancy. Leveraging my extensive experience leading IP functions, building and executing IP strategy, CGIP provides business relevant, strategic IP advice, particularly focused on supporting start ups and scale ups achieve maximum value from their IP whilst managing their risk profile and maintaining a keen eye on cost.
In 2022 I embarked on my career in consulting as Senior Director, Deloitte, UK - Intellectual Property Advisory focused on working with companies in consumer, life sciences and healthcare industries achieve their IP projects. Experience includes projects such as IP Commercialisation and Licensing, Strategy, Competitive Intelligence, IP Portfolio Optimisation, Pre-investment IP Preparation and Diligence and Patent Box Preparedness.
At Walgreens Boots Alliance I served as Director of IP, covering all areas of IP including patents, trade marks, designs registered and unregistered IPRs, leading the team in providing portfolio generation, management and commercialisation services to the Group.

During my tenure I created the vision and strategy for the function, designed and executed a transformation programme to build in additional efficiency and tools to automate workflows within and across functions. My role also offered me the opportunity to be highly involved in the divestment of the Alliance Healthcare business, creation of a JV with McKesson and acquisition of numerous FMCG brands.
My career started with Procter & Gamble where I built my experience and seniority within the IP function until I eventually led the global patent support for the laundry liquid business.
